Post 16 - How do you think you could get to infinity? Be sure to tell whether it's possible or impossible?

Please creatively answer the question. How many ways can you tie it to the book? Then branch out your response to other ideas.

    You CAN'T reach Infinity because it would take forever to get there, and then you STILL wouldn't be there. The highest # you can think of ALWAYS has 1 # after it.

    Could I simply write forever on a piece of paper and then be there? Then I would be at forever because I made it. :)

    I love how you connected it with the book. I am hearing the Mathemagician in my head saying, "Add one again. Add one again....and again....and again..."

    I think it is possible. Ther are many possible ways you can get to infinity. One way is to think your way to infinity. Another is to imagine or dream you were there. There is also adding or multipying your way. Or riding an elevator to infinity. If you think about it we may acually already be there. Who knows.

    You would simply go beyond infinity and subtract 1.

    I believe you can't get to infinity. It's like traveling in space (I believe it never ends). Milo could never climb all of the stairs, they were endless. Even if he traveled for like 100 years at 2 steps per second, he stil couldn't get there. Infinity is like a line, you can never reach the finish. It's a never ending race!

    I don't think that you can get to infinity because like Devon a.k.a Ozzy you can always add 1 to a number. Plus if you got to infinity you could also add another infinity.

    I believe you can travel to infinity. Infinity is what people say is after the largest number. When your at the biggest # known to man, after that you in infinity.
