  1. I learnered that not everything is as it seems. I for some reason expected a cold bitter person but after reading it the person seems more or less humble.

  2. I love that interview it answered all my questions on the book I liked the part about why he came up with a tollbooth. I only have one question why did you use your imagination on this book? I mean why not on a book about pirates or something? Not That I don't like this book this book is great!

  4. I really liked how he compared the tollbooth to other books such as The Wizard Of Oz, Alice In Wonder Land, and The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. Cruse he chose the tollbooth because it wasn't ordinary so it matches the book.

  5. Woah, he's old! I think that it's kind of creepy that the Terrible Trivium is one of the most evil characters, and yet Norton Juster is always slacking off and not doing what he's supposed to do.

  6. I learned that he was born on June 2, 1929 in Brooklyn, New York. He also started writing in the navy (that would be really hard). It would also suck to be born in Great Depression. He is married and has a daughter. I hope to learn more about him.

  7. I learned that Norton Juster was just like Milo (in the beginning). I also learned that he was born on June 2, 1929 in Brooklyn, New York. And, that was prior to the Great Depression. He was a architect. I also learned that he was in the Navy. I also learned that the Terrible Trivium was like a kid that was in his class. Next, Norton Juster is married and lives in Western Massachusetts. He has a daughter and a granddaughter.

  8. I learned that Norton Juster was born in Brooklyn in 1929. I also never knew that he was in the military. This surprised me because when I think of the army, I think of buff, jouk people. Though the Phantom Tollbooth is totally educational and I would not think of an military hero writing it. If I could go out to lunch w/ him there are three questions I would ask him. 1. Who do I remind him most of from the Phantom Tollbooth? 2. Was the economy worse then than it is now? 3. What was your favorite childhood memory?

  11. I like the idea of sending him the project videos and the song. I think we should record the song and email it to him, so we can get a more immediate response.
